Watch trends for 2011

With the start of a new year comes the start of new fashion trends, although it appears that the emergence of Ice-Watch in 2010 will continue to dominate the designer watch market in 2011.

Ice-Watch continue to evolve their ever-expanding collections with bright and colourful models being added constantly. The trend and demand for colourful watches has never been stronger, with A-list celebrities all over the world being spotted sporting the watches.

The vast array of different colours and sizes mean that Ice-Watch will always provide a suitable watch for any individual, at a price that won’t leave you skint!

The trend for colourful watches can also be seen echoed through designer brands such as LTD, LED, Alessi and Breo.

Whilst the fashion for colourful watches is ever present, 2011 also sees the launch of Ice-Watch’s new collection – Ice-Swiss. The new Swiss collection will allow Ice-Watch to compete in the high-end segment of the designer watch market and is due to be launched at Baselworld in March this year.

Baselworld 2011 will also see the launch of Vivienne Westwood’s watch collection.


Vivienne Westwood

The collection will feature a range of men’s and women’s watches retailing between £100 – £500 each. The collection will initially be offered to high-end UK department and speciality stores and is expected to make a big impact on the industry.
